Running Walking Practices — Privacy Policy

The short version

Running Walking Practices does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything you create — your practices, settings, and pace preferences — stays on your device.

What we don't collect

Personal identifiers (name, email, phone)
Location data or GPS coordinates
Health, fitness, or workout records
Device or advertising identifiers
Usage analytics or behavioral data
Crash reports beyond what Apple itself collects (which you control in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements)

Where your data lives

Your practices and settings are stored locally on your device using:

SwiftData — for the practices you create
UserDefaults — for your settings (theme, text size, paces, sound preferences)

This data is never transmitted off your device. It travels with iCloud Backup if you have backups enabled in iOS Settings, but only between your device and your iCloud account — we never see it.

Third parties

None. There are no analytics SDKs, no advertising networks, no third-party login providers, no telemetry, no servers we operate. The app is fully self-contained.

Camera, microphone, photos
Location
HealthKit / Motion data
Contacts, Calendar, Reminders
Network access for content (the app works fully offline)

Children's privacy

The app is rated 4+ and is appropriate for all ages. It does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the date below will be updated. Previous versions are visible in the GitHub commit history of this page.
